Melissa McCarthy had all eyes on her as she showed off her shrinking figure in an eye-popping pink gown.
The Bridesmaids actress, 53, recently shared a series of snaps taken at home with her husband Ben Falcone before she headed to the Oscars last weekend. Melissa looked slimmer than ever in a bright red floor-skimming gown, with a huge magenta overlay forming a long train and huge puff sleeves cinched in at the cuffs.
The Spy actress showed off her tiny waist while posing alongside a cute statue of a poodle, one manicured hand on the pup’s head as Melissa added red satin heels and a chain necklace around her throat. She styled her brunette tresses into a coiffed blow-out style with curls trailing down past her shoulders, and opted for a pale pink lip and dark liner when it came to make-up.

But Melissa’s diamond-studded purse – shaped like a cannoli – stole the show as the star later changed into a black leather dress with long sleeves ending in slinky gloves. A huge lion door-knocker acted as the centrepiece to the form-fitting ensemble.

In another snap, she stood arm in arm with her beloved hubby, who looked dapper in a black three-piece suit complete with a waistcoat and black tie. Ben buttoned his crisp white shirt all the way up to the collar and added a silver lion brooch to his lapel as a nod to his wife’s future outfit while grinning at the camera with his wife.
Posting the snaps to Instagram, Melissa penned: “An amazing night with my favourite fella!! I still stand by my favorite line of all time, my after-party inspiration… ‘leave the gun take the cannoli.’ Also a big thank you to my whole glam and styling team you make all my dreams come true!!!”

Fans soon flocked to the comments section to show Mel some love, with one penning: “Holy cannoli, you’re smokin’!” Another branded her “so pretty”, while another fan said: “You look like a f***ing rockstar.” Someone else told Melissa: “You look absolutely stunning – the hubs is looking dapper too. Love you! Thanks for all the wonderful movies.”
Melissa and Ben rarely make public appearances together, but she told People magazine: “He’s nothing but supportive, and he’s super smart. He makes me gut-laugh, like crazy gut-laugh, four or five times a day. I hit the jackpot!”

The pair first met properly in 1998 when they attended the same comedy class together, and have since starred together in numerous projects. In 2005, the pair finally tied the knot and went on to welcome two daughters together – Vivian and Georgette – who appeared in The Boss alongside their mum.
In a sweet 2023 post celebrating her husband’s birthday, Melissa shared a snap of a teenage Ben with the caption: “When this picture was taken 50 seemed like 100 years away. I’d marry this guy all over again, acid washed denim and U2 lapel button and all!”
