Noel and Liam Gallagher pose together for Oasis reunion – but fans left confused

Oasis have officially announced their comeback after 15 years – but things may not be as they seem,

As the supergroup shared their huge update with the world on Tuesday (27 August), some fans noticed something a little concerning between the formerly feuding Gallagher brothers.

As part of their big news, the siblings shared some promo snaps for their UK tour dates, including a black and white photo of them standing next to one another.

Some fans found this hard to believe as the pair had been rowing for the last decade, but others found it even harder to believe after noticing a couple of things.

After scanning the photos and the comment sections, fans argued that Liam’s head and hood looked as if they had been digitally cleaned up. Alongside part of the overlap where they’re in front of each other, appears to be very dark, perhaps to hide where two images were put together.

Liam also doesn’t appear to be casting a shadow on Noel, and the lighting on Liam’s face appears much brighter than on Noel’s too. All of the factors point towards the two images being edited together rather than being in the same room.

One fan even commented: “They’re back … just not in the same room. The contemporary picture of Liam and Noel standing together has clearly been photoshopped, which doesn’t bode well for rehearsals. #oasis”

A second added: “Unbelievable, it actually happened. I wonder if they took that photo in the same place, or if its edited together.” But others were quick to jump to their defence, with one replying: “They were together. It quickly shows other photos/outtakes at the end of the video clip.”

Another agreed and said: “Yup it’s real, you were right bruv.” With one other chiming in: “The YouTube trailer has a few frames of what appear to be alternate takes from the photoshoot; seems like it was indeed in-person unless the editing team really went all-out.”
