Perrie Edwards revealed the mortifying moment she accidentally watched Naked Attraction with her mother-in-law.
Over the past few weeks, the former Little Mix star has been promoting debut single as a solo artist, Forget About Us. And on the weekend, the mum-of-one joined Strictly favourite Johannes Rabede and comedian Frank Skinner on The Jonathan Ross Show.
But it didn’t take long before the show derailed as the songstress revealed how things took a turn for the worse before she cosied up for a night on the sofa while her mother-in-law was visiting. The 30-year-old told viewers: “When we lived in Manchester, our TVs were connected in every room.

“So whatever skybox you were on or whatever TV channel you were on, it was linked. I went to bed and it’s always on really late, isn’t it? And it’s great when there’s not much on.

“So I’m scrolling through, and I was like, ‘Oh, a bit of Naked Attraction, go on then!’ just for a bit of banter. So I’m watching it just minding my own business and I’m thinking, ‘Tee-hee’.”
It was at this point that her mother-in-law burst in after she accidentally interrupted her evening movie. Perrie went on: “And then the door just bursts open and it’s my mother-in-law, and bear in mind she’s quite a well-to-do lady, she’s very respectful, a bit of a prude.
“She went, ‘What on earth is on my TV?’ And I was like, ‘Oh God, you can see it?’ because it was playing in her room as well and she was watching a nice movie before bed.

“Meanwhile, I’ve gone in like, ‘Ayyy, let’s put a bit of this on’. And she ran in mortified thinking I’d put it on by accident, so I had to play it off like, ‘How has that come on?’ I was like, ‘Why would anyone put that on?’”
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to question why she would watch the X-rated show with visitors. One user penned: “WHY would you link your TVs?! [cry-laughing].”
Another agreed: “’How on earth did that come on?’ [cry-laughing emoji] I wish I could see her mum’s reaction. I’m just wondering, did she actually believe it?” A third chimed in with: “There’s no way she believed that [cry-laughing emoji].”

During her time on the show, the hitmaker revealed that she almost quit Little Mix just as the band started to dominate the charts. Perrie confessed that in the early days of rehearsals, she broke down in tears when she berated herself to her manager by saying she couldn’t dance.
She also warned the manager that if she didn’t improve, she would be forced to leave the group altoghether. The musician admitted that adapting to life in a girl band was tough for her.
Perrie explained: “In the band at the very beginning, we went to rehearsals, and I remember crying my eyes out. And I went to my manager, ‘I’m going to have to leave the band.
“I can’t really dance, I don’t want to dance.’ I was just so terrified and uncomfortable dancing that I just didn’t want to do it – I just wanted to stand and sing.”
