Emily Atack pleaded for help as she displayed an enormous baby bump as her due date draws near.
The TV sensation, who announced back in December that she and her scientist beau, Dr Alistair Garner, were expecting their first child, has been keeping her fans updated on her pregnancy journey ever since. While the 34-year-old mum-to-be hasn’t revealed the exact due date, her large belly clearly hints at an upcoming arrival.
Showing signs of fatigue, a ready-to-pop Emily made a plea for help, sharing a snap of her blossoming bump on Instagram captioning the photo, “Help…. Me….” The hilarious selfie garnered a predictable set of comments from her followers in minutes.

One asked: “Are you sure there’s only one! Or has baby got lots of water in the pool?” While another speculated: “You look like your ready to have your baby Emily.”
Yet another follower joked: “Are you birthing the titanic?” Emily had publicly announced her pregnancy just before Christmas.
She said: “I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time. Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting – a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover.
“I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level. It’s made me appreciate the one I’ve been given so much, I’m doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I’m growing. We can already sense the baby is reclined on a mattress of peanut butter and jam sandwiches in there, demanding more chocolate buttons.”
Speaking about her aspirations for her son, Emily expressed: “I want him to be a part of a really positive change.” She continued: “It starts with education… we need to have these conversations.”
During a stint on BBC Breakfast not too long ago, she outlined her hopes to enhance the practice of affirmative consent during intimate encounters. She believes the public should be urged to provide “clear and enthusiastic communication”, rather than merely the absence of a “no”.
She elaborated at the time: “It may not be the perfect solution but [we want] to flip it around and say, we’re going to make this much easier – did that person say yes? … This is something we need boys and girls, men and women to work together on. Good education, underpinned with a change in law, is a start.”
