Skins star Kaya Scodelario has reportedly split from her husband Benjamin Walker after eight years of marriage.
The 31-year-old actress famously played Effy in Skins and went on to land a leading role in 2017’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Now, The Sun has claimed that the brunette beauty has separated from the US actor last year.
The famous couple tied the knot in December 2015 and share a son and daughter together. But it appears as though they have called time on their relationship after months of speculation over their relationship.

When approached for a comment, the pair reportedly shared a joint statement together. It read: “Some time ago Kaya and Ben made the joint decision to end their marriage but continue to co-parent lovingly whilst remaining the best of friends.
“They ask that their privacy as well as that of their children’s remain respected as they continue to move forward as a family.” Daily Star has reached out to both Kaya and Ben’s representatives for a comment.
The couple have not appeared together in public for over a year, with fans spotting that the brunette beauty has now ditched her wedding ring. This week, she jetted off on holiday to the Maldives with two female friends.
Celebrating her lavish getaway on Instagram, she thanked her friends for their support over the past few months. She wrote: “Feeling so lucky to go through life with these amazing friends.
“Normalize going to ‘romantic’ locations with you mates instead…” The couple first got together in early 2014 after they met while filming the movie The King’s Daughter.
Their introduction came shortly after Benjamine divorced from his first wife, Meryl Streep’s actress daughter Mamie Gummer. Benjamin is best know for his impressive Broadway roles and as the High King in Prime Video’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings of Power.
Despite the breakdown of their marriage, Kaya has quite the busy year ahead with her starring role in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Netflix series The Gentlemen, which will premiere next months.
