This Morning’s Ben Shephard leaves co-star gasping as they beg ‘move on’ after racy remark

Ben Shephard had his This Morning co-stars cringing after his rather cheeky remark on-air.

The ITV show returned for another instalment on Monday (March 18) with Ben and Cat Deeley back at the helm. The pair made their debut last week, taking over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who left the show last year.

And it’s fair to say Ben and Cat have become a hit with viewers. But during the latest episode things took a cheeky turn when former Good Morning Britain star Ben made a naughty comment.

Along with Gyles Brandreth and Camilla Tominey, the pair were discussing what pyjamas they wear to bed. After revealing he used to sleep naked, Camilla asked Gyles: “Do you have a little wee little winky hat?”

The This Morning team giggled, and Ben then stepped in to issue a warning. He said: “As I found out the other day when I was talking to Lorraine [Kelly] you can get that wee little winky hat wrong.”

Ben then made a rather racy remark that had his co-stars gasping. He said: “So just make sure you get your lips around it!”

The studio went silent as his co-star gasped before they all giggled at his remark. Gyles then demanded: “Ok, moving quickly on!”

It comes after Ben took to social media to share his thoughts after his first week presenting ITV’s This Morning alongside Cat, who also shared her excitement. To mark their first week, Ben shared fun photos from the show on social media.

The snaps included famous guests like Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland, who joined them for a laugh on the sofa. Ben said they spent most of the time laughing and eating delicious food.

He joked: “I’m now fasting over the weekend to make room for more next week!!” But Ben’s announcement came with a worrying sign-off, as he ended his post by saying, “Thank you for all your lovely messages. See you Monday I hope!”
