This Morning star Josie Gibson may not even realise that she’d made a huge mistake on the daytime programme – as her co-stars carried on like a complete professionals ignoring her comments.
The 38-year-old however, was caught out by fans online who did notice the slip up when she’d been talking to Claire Sweeney about Dancing On Ice on Monday (15 January). They had been busy praising Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas at the time of the blunder.
Claire explained that Ryan had proved to be a dark horse in the competition after his epic performance on his Sunday’s debut. As Josie interrupted: “Those spins though.”
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star added: “Ryan’s doing so well with all those spins which is different from all that boxing he does.”
Over on X – formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to pinpoint the mistake. With one person writing: “Boxing, I think she is confused #thismorning,” as another added: “Boxing, I don’t think so #thismorning.”
While folk online did notice, it seemed the comment went well over the heads of co-host Dermot O’Leary and Dancing On Ice star Claire Sweeney. With neither stepping in to correct Josie.
