TikTok and X Factor star unveiled as sixth celebrity in Strictly Come Dancing line-up

One beloved TikTok star is ready to add some fire to the famous Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.

Daily Star can officially reveal that influencer Ash Holme has signed up to be a contestant on the BBC One dance competition. A TV insider exclusively told us: “Ash is so excited about being a contestant. It’s a dream come true.

“She’s got plenty of sex appeal and bags of personality. Producers think viewers will love her.” The internet sensation, 28, has become a huge hit in recent years, boasting more than 300,000 followers on her Instagram and 1.5million followers on TikTok.

The aspiring singer is also known for posting sizzling snaps of herself in skimpy outfits throughout the year, as well as her funny videos. But this isn’t the first reality show the TikTok star has appeared on.

She starred on the Channel 4 show Get in the Van in addition to the string of projects she has done for the BBC. Most recently, she made an appearance on BBC Radio 1 as well as dominating the social media sphere.

But it’s fair to say the stunner is best known for her stint on X Factor back in 2017. Loyal fans of the axed ITV talent competition will remember her from when she auditioned as part of the girl group NQ.

Although she was booted from the competition early doors, she pulled off the unimaginable and returned to the show later in the series. Head judge Simon Cowell brought the brunette beauty back on and invited her to form part of his new group, New Girl Band.

Although the group never took off, Ash is still a performer. The TikTok favourite will be joining comic Chris McCausland, JLS hunk JB Gill and This Morning expert Dr Punam on the famous dancefloor.

On Tuesday (August 6) it was revealed that 80s rock icon Toyah will also be joining the line up. She has been performing across stage and screen for over 50 years.

Her place was confirmed on Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 show. She gushed: “Wow Strictly Come Dancing, can you believe it! This is going to be a wild and wonderful ride, and I’m here for every sparkly second.

“I’m used to performing for big crowds but this is completely fresh for me, how I will do, it’s a mystery… I just want to get cracking and learn some dance routines now!”

Later on in the show, opera singer Wynne Evans – who is known for his countless appearances in the Go Compare adverts – was announced as the fourth star to join the celebrity line up. Vernon revealed on the show: “I am honestly still pinching myself, a portly balding opera singer, me, taking part in Strictly Come Dancing?!

“I’m not entirely sure how I’ll get along, if all else fails I’ll just have to learn the art of distraction. What I do know is I will give it my all and aim to make Wales proud.

“I’m definitely going to try and combine my love of Opera into one of my routines. Plus, after winning Celebrity MasterChef last year, maybe the route to the judges’ hearts will be through their stomachs!”
