Trisha Paytas shuts down conspiracy as fears second child could ‘take down monarch’

Social media sensation Trisha Paytas has offered Brits some reassurance that her second pregnancy won’t “take down another monarch” following the news of King Charles III’s recent illness.

The 75-year-old monarch will go to hospital this week to undergo a corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace announced on January 17. While Charles’ condition is said to be benign, the operation will mean his public engagements are put on hold for now, the Daily Star previously reported.

Royal fans have still become concerned about the future health of the King, who was coronated less than a year ago. However, some have speculated that one pregnant celeb could be linked – prompting her to hit back on social media.

YouTube star Trisha Paytas went viral in 2022 year after claims she gave birth to her first child on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s death. The heavily pregnant American influencer took to TikTok to dispel rumours that she had given birth to a girl who was said to be a ‘reincarnation of the Queen’ and named her Elizabeth after the bizarre claim became a meme.

She actually didn’t give birth to her daughter, Malibu Barbie Paytas-Hacmon, until September 14. However, now that another monarch has taken ill while she is pregnant with the second, people have been driven wild by the theory as people fear she could “take down another monarch.”

Addressing the fears on TikTok, the 35-year-old, from California, said: “This feels weird to even have to say, but I just wanna state for the record that I have no ties to the Royal Family. I have no ties to England, really. I wish no ill will to the royal family.

“I hope that King Charles and Kate Middleton who are currently in the hospital have a speedy recovery. Also, I don’t plan on giving birth till May. So that’s it. I feel like people just need to relax a little bit. Like, it’s crazy people think I’m that powerful, but I actually never think about the royal family.

“I don’t have anything against them. And people are rooting for me to, like, keep getting pregnant. You know, don’t keep rooting for me to get pregnant just because of the royal family coincidences.”

She finished off the video urging conpiracy theorists to “please don’t ruin [her] second pregnancy” and pointing out that she “didn’t even give birth till week after Queen Elizabeth passed away.”

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “‘Please don’t ruin my second pregnancy, thank you.‘ Y’ALL heard her leave her alone.”
