American actress Cindy Morgan has sadly died at the age of 69, it has been revealed.
The star scored her breakout role with Bill Murray and Chevy Chase in Caddyshack, where she played sizzling Lacey Underall. She also had a major role as Lora in sci-fi classic Tron (1982).
Her death was confirmed by The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday (January 6), according to TMZ. She reportedly died in the Palm Beach area of California and her body is at a local funeral home.

However, no further details about her death have been revealed. Tributes flew in from fans of the actress online.
One wrote: “She was a fantastic actress. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends, and I hope they can find peace and comfort during this time.” Another said: “Rest In Peace Cindy Morgan.”
A friend of the star’s said: “RIP Sweet Cindy Morgan so honored to call you both a client and a friend!”
Cindy previously opened up about her role in Caddyshack, whe played Elihu Smails’s (Ted Knight) niece. She said: “Caddyshack was my first film and I’ll say that the end product was so completely different, it was originally about the caddies.
‘So at first, I had nothing to lose to audition. It was fun. All I did was focus on making the person sweat. Look ’em in the eye, do that thing many women know how to…”
