Big Brother star and BBC host AJ Odudu has announced her engagement after sharing the exciting news on social media with a series of loved-up snaps with her new fiancé
Big Brother’s AJ Odudu is engaged.
The host took to Instagram to post joyful snaps with her beau and declare her exciting update.
She wrote: “Hiya love,” accompanied by a red-hearted and sparkly diamond ring emoji. She raised her hand high to flaunt the stunning diamond, wearing a chic furry black top and sporting sunnies.
The 37-year-old presenter’s partner wasdressed to the nines in a cream suit and stylish shades, and stood proudly beside her as they toasted with champagne.
In their third snapshot, the lovebirds couldn’t resist sharing a smooch, with a beaming AJ cupping her fella’s face, reports the Mirror.
While the star kept her soon-to-be hubby’s identity hidden, celeb friends and fans alike flooded the comments with well-wishes. Rugby star Ugo Monye exclaimed: “A M A Z I N G. congrats AJ! ! ! Xx” and Rosie Jones couldn’t contain her excitement: “YESSSS,” alongside a hearts-in-eyes emoji.
Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe sent regards: “Awww congrats,” and Alexandra Burke chimed in with supportive cheer: “Awww congrats babe! I love this for you!”.
Even former Little Mix siren Jade Thirlwall hit the like button, joined in digital applause by the likes of Zara McDermott, Megan McKenna, and Chloe Burrows who all double-tapped AJ’s post.
It appears AJ is no longer flying solo despite previous beliefs. Rumours churned out possible romantic links to Kai Widdrington after their dance partnership on Strictly.
He said on the show: “If people react like this then it means we are doing something right, because that is the way the dance should be danced.”
In a candid moment on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins back in 2019, AJ laid bare the scars from past wounds. She disclosed on the programme: “I’ve been cheated on by three ex-boyfriends. One of them was sleeping with my best friends.”
