BGT star set to replace judge who has ‘too much money’ – and it’s not who fans think

EXCLUSIVE: A Britain’s Got Talent legend reckons he is up for the challenge of joining the ITV show as a new judge – and is happy to boot off a huge star from the lineup

A Britain’s Got Talent legend is willing to boot off a huge star from the BGT judging lineup in order to fill their place.

Diversity dance legend Jordan Banjo spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he prepped for his upcoming Misfits boxing fight against Love Island star Wil Anderson.

But the KISS FM presenter first shot to fame on the ITV talent show back in 2009 with Diversity, which was led by Jordan’s big brother and Dancing On Ice judge, Ashley Banjo.

Talking about the show that set up his career, which is soon set to crown the 2025 winner, Jordan looked back fondly on his experience and said he would be up for being involved with it again in the future.

When asked if he would be up for sitting on the judging panel and who he would kick off the lineup which consists of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and KSI, Jordan answered: “I would say this, KSI has got more money and opportunity than every single man on the planet put together.

“So I’ll probably have to kick KSI off, because they’ll probably just build him an extra seat anyway so he can still be there.

“So I’ll say KSI, because I’ll bring him straight back on regardless.” He added: “Saying that I would much rather join Ant and Dec and present with them as they have all the fun.

“I couldn’t get get rid of of them though, it would be sacrilege, and I wouldn’t stand for it. I would rather never be on TV again than get rid of one of them,” he laughed.

Jordan also filled us in on the details of his upcoming fight with Love Island’s Wil, who is still dating his villa co-star Uma Jammeh.

The TV star said: “So next Friday, May 16, I will be fighting with Misfit at Derby, and it will be my first fight. Of course, it’s a little bit nerve-wracking, but it’s super exciting.

“I’m feeling confident. I’m feeling good. I’ve been training about boxing-wise for about a year and a half,” before adding some rather polite fighting talk: “Wil thinks he’s gonna knock me out, and I’m sure he’s going to try his best. And I say it wholeheartedly, like without insulting him, as he’s a lovely guy, but Will cannot beat me.

“And if anyone’s getting knocked out, unfortunately, it’s going to be Wil. But apart from that, like I said, absolutely lovely geezer. Wish him all the best and I’m sure we will hug after.”
