Britain’s Got Talent icon hints at ‘results’ of 2025 series as pattern emerges

EXCLUSIVE: A beloved Britain’s Got Talent contestant has spoken exclusively to Daily Star about the 2025 series of the talent show as the upcoming finale fast approaches…

A Britain’s Got Talent legend thinks they know how the 2025 votes will land.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, BGT winner Paul Potts discussed this year’s contestants and admitted he’s noticed a pattern throughout the 18 series of the talent show.

He said: “The singers often end up splitting the vote between them, especially when there are a few similar artists in the mix.”

“That can make it harder for any one singer to dominate, but hopefully each of them will find their own niche after the show and be able to pursue their individual goals, carving out something big for themselves.”

Potts won Britain’s Got Talent back in 2007 and took the crown of the show’s first ever series.

The opera singer performed Nessun Dorma and went on to record his album One Chance, which topped the sales charts in a whopping 13 countries after it was released.

Paul has confirmed that no-one else in his family would be able to compete on the show, as they all lack any hidden talents.

The reality TV star joked: “My younger brother always claims he’s the good-looking one, and my usual response is: ‘I’m so fortunate I’m not as good-looking as you!”

A film about Paul’s life was released back in 2013 and stars James Corden as Paul, Julie Walters, Mackenzie Crook and Alexandra Roach.

Potts told Daily Star that he has “met James Corden a couple of times” and the Gavin and Stacey actor made a confession: “We were both at Angel Studios once – he had to learn to move his mouth in time with my voice, which he admitted was harder than he expected!”

The BGT winner revealed that he “was consulted about the film’s screenplay, read and approved it.” However, One Chance “does differ” from his memoir because he “wrote the book himself”.

“Films often have to change or condense things for the sake of screen time, so it’s natural for there to be differences.”
