“She’s got an incredible support system that’s been there every step of the way, helping her to pick up the pieces of her life. They are encouraging her to start dating again.”

Deborra-Lee and Hugh called it quits in September 2023 after 27 years of being wed. She only filed for divorce in May, and it was officially signed off by a judge just a few weeks ago.

PEOPLE magazine reports that online court records from New York’s Suffolk County Supreme Court indicate that a judgment of divorce was filed on June 12, and later uploaded to the website on June 23, with the case not listed as ‘Disposed’.

When Deborra-Lee filed for divorce from the 56-year-old actor, she indicated the terms were uncontested and would only need a sign-off from a judge.

It was revealed days after the filing that the pair had begun to separate their shared assets.

The ex-duo first crossed paths on the set of the Aussie TV series Correlli in 1995 and tied the knot on 11 April 1996.

They welcomed their son, Oscar, now 24, into their lives through adoption in 2000, followed by their daughter, Ava, 19, in 2005.

In September 2023, they publicly announced their split via a joint statement to People, stating: “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

Deborra-Lee opened up about the emotional toll of the separation in a separate statement in May.

She expressed: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It’s a profound wound that cuts deep.”

Adding further, Deborra said: “However, I believe in a higher power and that God or the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working for us.
