Timothée Chalamet has sparked fresh rumours about his romance with Kylie Jenner after posting a mysterious social media message on her 28th birthday rather than publicly celebrating the milestone.
The Dune star, 29, shared a throwback snap from a legendary boxing bout featuring Muhammad Ali in triumph, complete with “Dream Big” scrawled across it in crimson lettering, but made no mention of his girlfriend’s special day.
The enigmatic upload has only intensified whispers amongst fans who suspect the pair may have quietly parted ways. Romance rumours first emerged in April 2023 when reports suggested the duo had been secretly meeting up.
Their debut as an official couple came that September at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in Los Angeles, where photographers captured them kissing in the exclusive VIP area, reports the Mirror.
The celebrity pair have since maintained a deliberately private approach to their romance, occasionally spotted on low-key dates but steering clear of any public declarations about their relationship, apart from at key career events.
Recent weeks have seen a notable drought in joint photographs, whilst Kylie has been sharing a string of Instagram Stories peppered with melancholic song lyrics – further stoking breakup speculation amongst eagle-eyed followers.
Whilst Timothée chose to publicly overlook Kylie’s birthday, her celebrity relatives commemorated her special day with their traditional heartfelt tributes.
Kylie’s mum, Kris Jenner, posted a collection of nostalgic snaps of her youngest daughter, writing: “Happy birthday to my baby girl!! You are truly beautiful inside and out… You are so smart, strong, creative, loving, kind, funny, and always so supportive… I love you beyond measure… Mommy.”
Kendall Jenner, meanwhile, shared childhood photographs with the message “my little lady forever,” prompting Kylie to reply: “kendall jenner!!!!”.
Khloé Kardashian uploaded a compilation of pictures and footage showing Kylie with a cake at what looked like a Saturday evening birthday celebration. Khloe, 41, wrote: “Forever and then some, I love you to the moon and back. Happy birthday my girl… My soulmate sister… I love you beyond words, always and forever. With all my heart, Your second mommy, Khloé.”
Kourtney Kardashian shared: “Tinker Bell! May you shine forever my little goose sister.”

The birthday girl also took to social media, sharing a series of throwback photos, including one where she’s beaming next to her first bicycle, with the caption: “happy birthday to meeee.”
The timing and substance of Timothée’s post on Kylie’s birthday puzzled numerous fans, with some speculating that the “Dream Big” message might be a veiled nod to his forthcoming picture Marty Supreme, set to hit cinemas on Christmas Day.
