An exit may already be in the works as Love Island fans believe they’ve figured out which female Islander has been secretly evicted from the villa.
Presenter Maya Jama revealed news of an impending departure at the end of Monday’s launch show. Just as the couples were fully announced, a shocking twist occurred when a bombshell entered the famous villa and wreaked havoc.
American Islander Toni was given the task of stealing a man, leaving his current partner single. She chose to pair up with Ben, leaving Shakira single and at risk of being permanently removed from the show.
However, the drama didn’t end there, as Maya had another surprise in store. She informed Shakira that she now had 24 hours to graft and get to know the other lads.
The following day, in scenes likely to be broadcast on Tuesday night, Shakira will select the lad she wants to steal from another girl to secure her place on the show, reports the Mirror. There’s a catch though, as the chosen male Islander must agree to the swap or it won’t happen.
If Shakira chooses a lad and he doesn’t agree, he will stay with his current partner and Shakira will be evicted from the villa. If Shakira is successful and a swap occurs, the partner of the lad she chooses will be sent home instead.
It’s thought that these scenes have already been filmed, meaning an Islander has already been dismissed. Viewers reckon they’ve sussed out who this is, believing it’s clear who Shakira will choose and who will be left single.

Telly addicts reckon the present match-up isn’t all that keen on each other and predict Blu will jump ship for newly single Shakira. One worried viewer posted: “I’m thinking that Alima could get dumped because neither of them wants to stay in their couple, so Shakira could take Blu off Alima’s hands.”
