EXCLUSIVE: Love Island star Anna Vakili has spoken about her iconic but fiery scene where she scolded Jordan Hames – but claims viewers never got to see the full extent of the chaos
Love Island star Anna Vakili has revealed more chaos went down in the villa during her which was never aired at the time.
During series five of the ITV show in 2019, Anna became notorious for her blow up at her love interest Jordan Hames, which often still makes it in the round ups of most iconic Love Island scenes.
Speaking to Daily Star in collaboration with WhichBingo, the home of online Bingo and new casino sites, Anna recalled her fury and said she doesn’t regret it – and in fact, it got even more heated than viewers ever realised.
Anna shared: “I don’t regret that at all, because I feel like I was 100% in the right yeah, and he deserved it. So, I stand by what I did. They didn’t even show the full craziness. It was a lot more crazy than that. But yeah, no, he deserved it.
“Because they took me into the beach hut after and they said, I know you went a bit too mad. They protected me,” she laughed.
When asked if it was still frosty between her and her former flame Jordan, she revealed that it was all “squashed”.
Anna added: “I haven’t seen him for years, the first year or two years after I saw him at a few events, and we were fine. We completely squashed it. He was younger. You know, it’s easier for him to be swayed but yeah, I’m over it completely.”
The TV star, 34, also revealed that she is still often grilled about her choosing to couple up with Jordan over Love Island legend Ovie Soko.
Anna said: “The number one question I still get to this day is, like, ‘How did you pick Jordan over Ovie?’ Even till this day people like, ‘Are you crazy? Like, why did you pick Jordan over him? Why did you leave Ovie? Like, who leaves Ovie?’ And that’s something that I’m just never going to be able to live down.”
