Maura Higgins is facing even more drama after a comment on a Danny Jones Instagram post has resurface which waves further red flags for fans after the alleged BRITS kiss
Maura Higgins is facing a huge backlash over a cryptic comment she wrote to Danny Jones on Instagram around a week ago.
This comes as the I’m a Celeb co-stars appeared to share a “drunken” kiss at the BRIT Awards afterparty.
The married McFly star, 38, seemed to lock lips with his former campmate Maura Higgins, 34, at Universal Music’s star-studded afterparty on Saturday night (March 1). Footage from The Sun appears to show the pair lean in by the curtains as they engage in conversation and then sharing a brief smooch at the party, at 180 Studios on the Strand in London.
An unearthed Instagram comment left by Maura’s account on Danny’s has piled on the jibes. The reality TV star posted two applauding emojis and a black heart one under the musician’s post last Tuesday, in which he says he is looking forward to performing again.
This has outraged followers even further, tagging her alongside the vomiting emojis or long passages of frustration. One posted: “Oh Maura…” Another shared: “Oh dear…”
The alleged kiss has sparked fury from Danny’s fans, given that he’s been married to his model wife Georgia Horsley since 2014 – the pair share son Cooper. Georgia hasn’t addressed the ‘kiss’ but did speak about a trip to visit Danny during his time in the jungle on the latest episode of her podcast – she didn’t mention his name.
Maura is now single after her split from Pete Wicks, who she recently blasted as “probably cheating.”
The alleged kiss, caught on camera just before 3am, happened in the foyer and a source told The Sun: “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time. They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.
“Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle. They were talking and laughing for ages.”
