The show, spawned by Guy Ritchie, first hit screens in March 2024, with Netflix swiftly announcing that a follow-up season was on the cards. Maya’s set to be one of the fresh faces joining The Gentlemen’s cast – a spin-off from the smash 2020 movie – though her character details are still under wraps.
The second series will also welcome Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellito, Amra Mallassi, and Tyler Conti to its roster. Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are back for more action, alongside other returning talents like Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley, and Giancarlo Esposito.
The plot for The Gentlemen’s sophomore series teases: “It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together in Bobby’s criminal empire overseas. As they drive to expand their enterprise, the decisions Bobby is making seem to be increasingly unsound. Now Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all, but unfettered ambition never ends well..”
Meanwhile, Guy Ritchie expressed his excitement about the upcoming season of The Gentlemen, saying: “I am delighted to return to set for season two of The Gentlemen. This chapter sees a deliberate expansion, both geographically and thematically, as we journey from the English countryside to the Italian lakes.”
