Oasis frontman Noel “relied”on his brother at the band’s reunion

Body language expert Inbaal Honigman has analysed the siblings during their first performance together in 16 years; speaking exclusively to Daily Star on behalf of Fruity King, Inbaal told us: “As Liam and Noel stepped onto the stage together again after all these years, they were clearly both pleased to be doing this.”

“Raising their arms in the air is a sign of victory, they felt proud. Liam had both his hands in the air so he feels like he’s overcome a lot to get to this moment.”

However, Inbaal noticed something different about Noel’s stance: “He had one arm aloft with the other trailing a bit low by his side, as if half-victorious. Noel’s half-committed pose and the fact that he looked away from his brother indicates that he would rather make this comeback in a slightly less dramatic way.”

“Not Liam! Liam would not want to be anywhere else. He gazed directly at the audience and walked forward confidently. He owns that stage.”

“The relationship between the brothers appears to be doing great. They were both looking in the same direction, showing that their goals are similar, and they were holding hands so they’re getting along alright. People don’t touch people they dislike!”

Inbaal noted that Noel and Liam “could have taken to the stage side by side and not held hands,” but the brothers “naturally reached for each other,” which suggests that the Gallagher brothers “are dependent on each other.”

“Noel’s head tilted very slightly towards Liam, which showed that he relied on Liam to lead the evening. As their hands were held together, Noel’s thumb on top. The person with whose hand covers the other’s is the one in the lead.”

“Noel may be humble, but he’s fearless on the stage.”
