Fans of The White Lotus are gearing up for the show’s bombshell finale episode, which sits at a run time of 90 minutes, and the cast have issued a huge warning to viewers
The White Lotus cast have hinted at what’s to come in the show’s final episode.
In a video posted to YouTube by The Hollywood Reporter, Charlotte Le Bon, who plays Chloe in the HBO series, said: “I think people are gonna hate Mike White a little bit. Sorry, but that’s his signature,” referring to the series’ creator, writer and director.
Aimee Lou Wood described the season finalé as: “Profound…and gut-wrenching, actually!”
Other stars said that the last episode’s plot is “shocking,” “chaotic” and “a cooking pot of chaos,” before warning fans that they “aren’t ready” for what is to come.
“It’s emotional and deeply satisfying,” explained Michelle Monaghan, before Natasha Rothwell joked: “It would be wow, but with 18 ‘os’. Like: ‘WOOOW!'”
Fans rushed to the comment section to theorise what the actors’ comments could mean ahead of the season three finale.
One person wrote: “This makes me think that Greg is going to make it out of this season alive/without facing justice,” while another chimed in: “Excited for the finale!!”
“Sounds intriguing! Can’t wait,” typed one excited viewer as a second said: “If something happens to Chelsea I’m gonna riot,” before a third added: “This season is not bad by any means, however I find it the weakest of the three. So I am hoping the finale really brings it all together however I fear disappointment.”
Fans of The White Lotus were recently shocked by news that one star will not be returning for the fourth series. Show regular Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, who composed the series’ iconic opening theme, has decided to part ways with the project.
He spoke to The New York Times about his decision and explained that creative disagreements led to his decision.
The composter also didn’t inform show writer Mike White: “Maybe I was being unprofessional, and for sure Mike feels that I was always unprofessional to him because I didn’t give him what he wanted. But what I gave him did this, you know — did those Emmys, people going crazy.”
Fans can’t believe the musician won’t be working on the upcoming series and took to social media to share their frustrations.
One wrote: “This show would not be what it is without you, and whoever comes next has some big shoes to fill.”
Another said the news “broke their heart”, adding: “Your music IS the White Lotus!”
