Louise’s Eternal bandmate Kelle Bryan opened about about their pop career on Loose Women today – revealing one magazine refused to put the band on the cover because ‘black women don’t sell magazines”.
The R&B group, formed in 1992, was made up of Louise, Kelle and fellow black women Vernie and Easther Bennet.

Kelle said: “When I was in a band we’d just had a number one record and were the biggest R&B group in the UK at the time and were told by a magazine we couldn’t be on the front cover.”
“They basically came back and said at the time that black people don’t sell magazines.”
