GMB viewers left confused by Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid and Dr Hilary outfits

Good Morning Britain was a very purple scene this morning as the breakfast news show kicked off at 6am with all the cast wearing the same colour.

Hosts Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid and Dr Hilary all appeared on the show wearing different varieties or purple and viewers were loving it.

Susanna looked stunning in a plunging purple leopard print shirt, leaving a few buttons undone as to give the plunged affect.

The 49-year-old also looked super glam with her hair in tight curls as her locks sat neatly on her shoulders as she presented the news to the British public.

Susanna also opted for a purple eyeshadow look and a darker pink graced across her lips.

Dr Hilary also rocked a very purple ensemble today as he gave advice on the coronavirus pandemic which has seen the UK go back into a lockdown.

The doctor donned a striking purple suit jacket with a matching tie that featured purple floral detailing throughout it.

Piers also got the memo for today clearly as he opted for a purple tie.

While some viewers were confused if it meant something was going on or not, others rushed to Twitter to compliment the trio.

One tweeted: “Good morning guys. Look how lovely Piers, Susanna and Dr Hilary are today all matching. @piersmorgan’s lovely purple tie. @susannareid100’s lovely print dress with purple in it. @DrHilaryJones’s 3 piece purple suit. They all look FANTASTIC! Well done #GMB wardrobe.”

A second said: “You, Hilary and Susana, look lovely today, looks good all together..all in some shade of purple.”

“Loving the purple @piersmorgan @susannareid100 and @DrHilaryJones are all wearing on #GMB,” tweeted another.

It comes after viewers were left covering their eyes on Monday as presenters Piers and Susanna interrogated Health Secretary Matt Hancock over a reported pay rise for MPs.

Mr Hancock refused to confirm whether he will receive or accept the pay rise, which is expected to be announced by Chancellor Rishi Sunak this week.

GMB host Piers, 55, insisted: “Say on Good Morning Britain right now that you will not accept the pay rise.”

However, Mr Hancock, 42, instead chose to discuss the positive news that a coronavirus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University can prevent 70.4% of people from getting Covid-19.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am
