TOWIE babe 'didn't know' danger of killer plastic surgery before bum procedure

The Only Way is Essex babe Yazmin Oukhellou has admitted she “didn’t realise” how dangerous her most recent plastic surgery procedure could have been.

The Essex beauty underwent laser liposuction and a Brazilian bum lift after feeling insecure about her body – but the procedures could’ve killed her.

The 26-year-old, who joined TOWIE in 2017, had no idea the dangers of what she’d done until people starting sliding into her DMs warning her.

She told Daily Star Sunday’s TV Life mag: “I had laser liposuction and BBL. They took out the fat from my tummy and put it onto my hips.

“Brazilian bum lifts killed one in 3,000 people who underwent them in 2018.”

The brunette bombshell went on: “I hadn’t really seen how dangerous it was until after I had it done.

“People were sending me messages on Instagram, saying, ‘Yaz, this is so dangerous – what have you done?!’ And I didn’t realise.”

Yazmin flew to Turkey for the £3,000 procedure, which she described as “traumatic”, saying: “It was something that I didn’t really look into as much as I should have to see how much of an effect it would have on me.

“But I feel so much better in myself.

“It’s still sore to touch a couple of months after.”

She added: “It’s not something I’m encouraging people to get, but it’s made me feel better.”

Luckily, on-off boyfriend James Lock has been at hand to support her after they got back together last year.

Yaz said: “He said I was silly and that I didn’t need it. But luckily I did have him there every step of the way.

“Now he’s seen a real change in me, so he’s happy. But at first he thought I was losing the plot!”

She added: “He’s pleased with the results, but he loved the version of me before.”

The reality star regularly shows off her banging body on Instagram, but she has admitted she was still insecure about her looks.

Open about her past surgeries – a nose job and a breast augmentation – Yaz suggested she wouldn’t have gone under the knife if she hadn’t entered the showbiz industry.

“Coming into this industry has been quite difficult,” she said.

“I know we all say not to listen to trolls, but it’s really difficult not to.”

She explained people were commenting on her photos asking if she was pregnant, and it was getting her down even though she tried to ignore it.

“I’m always trying to be positive and build up other women’s self-esteem,” she said.

“Whereas I think I should be looking at my own, because self-esteem has been an issue from a young age.

“I now need to realise that I can’t fix everything with surgery. I need to fix myself within.”
