Piers Morgan has been vocal with his criticism of the UK government’s handling of the ever ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In recent weeks, the Good Morning Britain journalist revealed that should his time come, he would run for the Prime Minister job and deliver what the nation really wants.
Over the course of the past year, Piers, 55, has continually updated the public that democratically elected MPs had made the decision to boycott Good Morning Britain, famously clashing with Secretary of State, Matt Hancock.
Piers has previously shared parts of what would be his manifesto, which states that he would encourage the Queen to strip Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex of their royal titles.

Now, in a tweet to his 7.7 million followers, he said: “If I were @BorisJohnson, I’d send out Professor Van-Tam every day at 5pm to calm the nation & provide cold, hard factual responses to all the scary-sounding covid developments that spark negative headlines & unsettle everyone.
“We don’t need ministers, we need him.”
It comes following the government’s refusal to disclose “roadmap” plans which will eventually see the nation stripped of lockdown restrictions.

Writing for an opinion piece in The Daily Mail, the dad-of-four goes on to state that he would order two hours of compulsory sport in schools every day in a bid to tackle the nations obesity pandemic.
During yesterday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, Piers came to blows with Health Minister, Edward Argar, when the pair spoke about the plans set out for hotel quarantine.
The pair came to loggerheads when Argar revealed he “didn’t know” how many hotels had signed up to participate in the government’s quarantine scheme.

Those travelling into the country from February 15 will be legally required to quarantine at a selected hotel, almost one year since the first confirmed case of coronavirus in the UK.
This will mean arrivals will have to remain in their designated rooms for ten days with security guards on constant watch for those who may attempt to flout the strict rules.
When discussing the topic which the Health Minister appeared to be uncertain on, Piers fumed: “I think the original question that I asked was how many hotels do we have signed up ready to accept and force quarantine.
“You don’t know the number but do you know if we have any?”
A disgruntled Edward Argar responded: “I answered the question saying ‘no I do not know the answer to that question’ that’s an honest answer.”
