It looks like BBC Breakfast presenters Carol Kirkwood and Dan Walker are giving each other cheeky jibes yet again, as weather lady Carol awkwardly snubbed Dan as she failed to hear his question.
On Tuesday morning’s episode Carol, 58, was given the opportunity to present the weather from Odds Farm Park located in Buckinghamshire.
As she confidently presented at the farm near one of the stables, bird noises could evidently be heard in the background.
After Carol had finished presenting, Dan who was currently sitting in the studio with co-host Louise Minchin, picked up on the fact that the birds were chirping rather loudly.
Facing Louise Dan said: “The birds are very noisy today.”
Louise responded: “Yeah they are.”
Turning back to address Carol on the Farm, Dan asked: “Carol are they unusually noisy there, they’ve been tweeting away all morning?”
Carol responded: “Lovely, thanks honey, you too. Take care.”
Dan,44, was lost for words and burst into laughter in the studio with Louise.
Dan joked: “It actually worked very nicely.”
On Monday morning’s episode presenter Dan was left shocked as weather presenter Carol fired an audacious jibe in his direction during the show.
While discussing the crime thriller Line of Duty, passionate Dan told Carol to not listen to the latest news about the show as she had not caught up on it.
“Carol, I hope you were keeping your ears closed and not listening to anything when we were talking about Line of Duty earlier,” Dan said.
The weather lady replied: “Absolutely right Dan, as usual actually.”
“How dare you, that’s enough of the weather, thank you very much, see you tomorrow,” Dan sniped
The meteorologist laughed: “Oh, you cheeky thing.”
Carol then proceeded to present the weather for the day, but Dan was still in his feelings and took another jibe once she had finished.
The father of three said: “Wasn’t listening to a word of that Carol, thank you very much.”
He added: “Sure it was brilliant though.”
The studio immediately erupted into laughter, but co-host Louise came to Carol’s defence and said “I was [listening].”
