Lorraine Kelly was called “filthy” by her daughter Rosie Smith during their Celebrity Gogglebox debut on Friday night.
The mother and daughter duo have joined the cast of the popular Channel 4 series and offered their views on the latest shows on television alongside other famous faces.
Lorraine and Rosie, who were seen dressed casually sitting in front of their bookcase and between a pair of elegant elephant cushions, were joined by the newest addition of their family, puppy Ruby.
Rosie said: “What is going on with these tight trousers and tight tops on boys? Why do they do it?”
Lorraine replied: “I don’t know… is it because they work out and they want to look…”
Rosie added: “…and they want to be like, ‘look at me’… even his trousers you can see his ankle, I don’t understand that.”
A giggling Lorraine said: “His ankle?…I thought you were going to say something else!”
Smiling Rosie said to her mum: “You’re filthy mother!”
ITV star Lorraine protested: “I am not!”
The official Gogglebox Twitter account shared a photo of the pair earlier this week giving a sneak peek into their living room alongside the caption: “Welcome to the #CelebrityGogglebox sofa fam @RealLorraine, Rosie and little Ruby.
“Join us THIS FRIDAY, 9pm on @channel4 for the BRAND NEW series!”
Lorraine said they had been asked to do the programme because they “love the show so much”.
Former Premiership footballers turned pundits Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher will also make their debuts for the third series.
Melanie C, BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, and sports presenter Clare Balding are also the cast with their loved ones.
Shaun Ryder and Bez from the Happy Mondays, father-son duo Martin and Roman Kemp, Denise Van Outen and her partner Eddie and The Masked Singer judge Mo Gilligan and his friend, actor Babatunde Aléshé returned to offer their verdict on the latest programmes on TV.
