Piers Morgan publicly shames stranger who launched foul-mouthed attack at him on walk

Piers Morgan has laughed off being branded a “c**t” by an outraged stranger.

The insult came after he announced he will be returning to television as part of News UK’s new TV channel, TalkTV, which launches next year.

Taking to Twitter, Piers, 56, wrote: “Lovely walk through the sun-drenched park with lots of very nice people congratulating me on my my new job… apart from one angry young lady in a very tight-fitting bright blue leotard who just screamed ‘C**T!!!!!!’ at me & then jogged/wobbled on.

“Brave choice of outfit,” he added followed by a crying with laughter emoji.

Some of his eight million followers commented on his post.

Daz Grey wrote: “Social media and society deconstruct have caused this. The fact someone thinks they’ve the right to scream in a persons face in public is abhorrent.

He continued: “The fact so many think it’s ok is dysfunctional. The lack of fear of consequence is absolutely alarming.”

Allexmarie Holland commented: “Glad you had a nice walk. How do you tolerate all these trolls on here??”

Piers saw the funny side and shared the news on Twitter

Piers responded: “Twitter’s not the real world… 99 per cent of people that I actually meet are very friendly and nice.

“But on here you get the Billy Big Balls berks spewing bile from their mothers’ basements.”

Piers announced his new job earlier this week, six months after he left Good Morning Britain.

Addressing his exit, he said he had to “agree to disagree” with ITV as he refused to apologise for comments he made about Meghan Markle.
