It’s set to be an emotional time for some of the Emmerdale residents next week as some characters are faced with turmoil.

Also, Nate Robinson tries his best to win Tracy Metcalfe’s heart back, but a volatile Tracy feels reluctant to accept his apology.
Will she put her emotions to one side and take him back?

Priya breaks down
Priya begins to feel the pressure when her best pal Leyla turns up to her father Rishi’s pre-Christmas get-together looking fashionably alluring.
Feeling ashamed of her laid-back jogger outfit, she asks for Leyla’s help to hopefully make her feel glam too.
While the pair are in her bedroom, Priya’s anxieties about her body are exacerbated as she goes through the clothes in her wardrobe.
When she reveals to Leyla she still hasn’t looked at her back properly since she arrived home from the hospital, Leyla gently encourages her scared friend to confront her fears head-on.
However, once they uncover her scars from the layers of clothing, Priya and Leyla are shocked into silence by the sight of Priya’s injuries on her back.
Standing silently, Priya stares back at her reflection in the mirror.
Meanwhile, outside Holdgate, Rishi’s gone to town for his Christmas party but Jai becomes concerned when Priya’s nowhere to be seen as of yet.
Feeling the pressure, Priya gets ready with Leyla’s help, even though she’s still anxious and in enormous amounts of emotional and physical pain.
Once Priya arrives at the gathering, everyone is happy to see her and is happy about her recovery.
But the mood quickly shifts and Priya’s anxieties resurface at the mention of food.
Nate heartache
After spending the night away from his partner Tracy, Nate’s relationship has been evidently strained.
Next week Nate becomes intrigued when Belle Dingle tells him her plan to get him and Tracy back together.
Later on, Tracy walks right into Nate’s romantic surprise for her but she quickly becomes put off when she realises that it involved Belle lying to her about Nate.
Not taking no for an answer, Nate begs for another chance as Tracy struggles to hear him out.
Tracy begins to slowly have a change of heart and starts to appreciate Nate’s efforts, but things quickly take an ugly turn when their daughter Frankie utters her first word, “Dada”.
Nate is clearly overjoyed with Frankie, but Tracy’s mood shifts as her old doubts about her parenting skills resurface.
The following day, a downhearted Nate updates Belle on the failure of her cunning plan.
But all hope is not lost, as Cain Digle turns up and has a plan to get the young couple back together. Will he have more success?

While at Tall Trees, Billy discloses to Meena Jutla that he’s worried about Ellis Chapman, but his mind is solely on Dawn.
Later on, Billy turns up at Woodbine and tells Dawn that she must hear what he has to say.
Pouring his heart out, he explains that he wants to be with her, but wants assurance from Dawn that she feels the same way despite their messy past.
But will Dawn be keen to give their relationship another go?
