Coco Lodge leaves producers 'furious' as she ditches hit reality show for Love Island

Love Island Casa Amor bombshell, Coco Lodge, caused a stir from the moment she arrived in the villa, setting her sights on Andrew Le Page and Davide Sanclimenti, 27.

In the dramatic recoupling, Andrew, 27, left original partner Tasha Ghouri, coupling up with Coco, 27, after a steamy few days together.

Coco, who was one of the six bombshells sent into Casa Amor to turn heads, had reportedly been filming for E4’s hit reality tv show, Married At First Sight UK.

A source told The Sun had shot multiple scenes for the show and was “all set for the next series.”

The source said: “She’d shot about a week’s worth of content – costing upwards of £5,000 – and bosses were looking forward to seeing her on the show.”

Married At First Sight sees contestants marrying their potential life partners after being matched by experts and meeting them for the first time at the altar, with the results being extremely varied.

Andrew chose to couple up with Coco during the explosive recoupling

Following the success of the Australian version, the UK format was overhauled to include explosive weekly dinner parties and revealing commitment ceremonies.

Producers were left “furious” when Coco confirmed she’d be ditching the bold TV experiment for ITV’s dating show.

However, Coco’s time on Love Island could soon be over. Since earning herself a long term spot in the villa, Coco and Andrew’s relationship turned sour, as he and old flame Tasha reignited their feelings for each other.

Coco revealed all to Tasha in explosive scenes

In the drama that ensued, Coco angrily branded Andrew a “liar,” having failed to confess to the pairs X-rated antics together behind Tasha’s back.

Coco took matters into her own hands, revealing all to Tasha, who consequently gave Andrew’s ring back via his pal, Luca Bish.

Love Island: The Morning After podcast guest host James Barr accused Andrew of using Coco in an attempt to make Tasha jealous.

“He clearly didn’t have feelings for Coco; he was just using her,” he said during his chat about the situation with co-hosts Kem Centinay and Arielle Free.

A date for the next series of Married At First Sight UK has yet to be confirmed for this year.

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITVBe
