Loose Women delayed in major ITV schedule shake-up as Liz Truss becomes Prime Minister

ITV’s daytime show Loose Women has been delayed as the Conservative party announced the new Prime Minister in the UK.

During Monday’s instalment of the popular afternoon show, viewers were treated to the live airing of the Prime Minister election.

The political news was broadcast live on all of the main television channels where millions of viewers up and down the country tuned in to watch Liz Truss be appointed the new Prime Minister.

While the breaking news was aired on ITV, the live studio audience were forced to remain in their seats while they waited for the election to finish before they could watch the beloved talk show.

Loose Women first announced the return of their live studio audience last month after two and a half years without viewers in the ITV studios during the global pandemic.

And hundreds of viewers up and down the country were left just as disappointed as they flooded to Twitter to air their grievances online.
