Dragons' Den star dances in sparkly hot pants as fans beg for Strictly stint

Dragons’ Den’s Touker Suleyman left fans completely taken aback on Thursday night (January 26), when he slipped into some teeny hot pants.

During this week’s episode of Dragons’ Den, the 69-year-old businessman, who reinvented womenswear brand Ghost, danced up a storm with some prospective business partners.

New Zealander Ashlee Ackland appeared on the BBC One business show with the hopes of getting a £50,000 investment and a dragon to mentor her and her business, Sparklebutt.

Arriving in the den donning some very sparkly trousers, Ashlee looked incredible as she sashayed into the room to talk about her funky trouser and hot pant brand

Touker left fans stunned by his moves

After revealing that her business focussed on sequinned garments, she spoke of wanting a £50K investment.

She then gave each of the Dragons a sparkly garment to inspect or try on.

Impressed by what he had seen, Touker slipped into some super sparkly green sequin hot pants.

Dancing around with the guests, the fashion retail entrepreneur clearly loved his new item of clothing.

The Dragon danced around the den on Thursday night

“Touker Suleyman for Strictly Come Dancing 2023 please,” begged one fan as he danced and writhed around the den.

Another chimed in with: “Touker the Dancing Dragon.”

“Looooooove Touker dancing in the Den,” added a third, while a fourth penned: “Gotta love Touker’s willingness to get up and boogie.”

After having a bit of a dance and hearing more about Ashlee’s business, Touker admitted he couldn’t see it becoming a huge business – especially if festivals were Sparklebutt’s main focus.

Touker kept his trousers on underneath the hot pants

Explaining how she wanted to “own the party space” in the same way that Nike owns the running space and Lululemon owns the yoga space, Ashlee pitched with passion.

“Woah, you’re ambitious,” Touker then said, clearly impressed.

Taking himself out of the equation, Touker later admitted that he wasn’t willing to invest.

Sadly none of the other Dragons wanted to invest, but Ashlee left feeling positive and vowed to “own that partywear space”.
