Love Island villa descends into chaos as girls clash over brutal Casa Amor recoupling

The Love Island villa has already been plunged into chaos as the most anticipated recoupling of the series kicked off on Thursday.

Casa Amor – the ultimate Love Island test – has finally come to an end and it was time for the islanders to make their decisions.

First up was Casey who decided to stick with Claudia, despite forming a connection with Cynthia.

Casey revealed to Maya Jama that while he spent his time getting to know the girls, there was no one in the villa that compared to Claudia.

This didn’t sit well with Cynthia, who reminded the 26-year-old of their antics over the past few days which included “kissing and straddling”.

Claudia clashed with Layla

The 25-year-old then turned away from the islanders as she began to cry, telling the girls she needed a minute to compose herself.

As Claudia turned and spoke to Casey, it was unclear what she was saying as she began giggling.

“Why are you laughing? Why are they laughing?,” asked Layla before Cynthia said: “Oh it’s obviously funny.”

“What’s funny? I was laughing at something else. I wasn’t laughing at you,” she insisted, before telling the 28-year-old: “Don’t start because I’m laughing at something else”.

Layla hit back: “I’m not starting. I’m not starting.”

The drama only continued as Kai decided to recouple with Sanam, while Olivia returned to the villa arm in arm with Maxwell.

As she stood in front of a newly coupled Kai and Sanam, she said: “Can’t say I’m shocked.”

“His loss. My gain,” she swiped.

The brunette beauty told Maya that she formed connection with Maxwell that she “couldn’t ignore”, before insisting she was “glad” she recoupled.

Sanam then admitted she was “lost for words,” questioning the relevance of Olivia’s speech given the fact she decided to recouple.

Olivia responded: “This isn’t between you and me,” before Kai insisted she doesn’t need to be “bitter” as they are both happy in their new couple.

Elsewhere, both Samie and Tom decided to stick with each other, but their reunion came crashing down when it was revealed Tom had been “cuddling and kissing” Lydia.

Layla chimed in again, telling the 23-year-old that he should’ve approached things a different way with Lydia.
