Dancing on Ice viewers all say same thing as Corrie legend makes unexpected appearance

Dancing on Ice fans were sent into meltdown after spotting Coronation Street legend David Neilson in the audience.

The acting legend was at the side of the rink supporting his co-star Mollie Gallagher on Sunday (February 26).

Before Mollie opened the show, Jayne Torvill announced that she’s injured and will be having surgery.

The stunning skating professional, 65, looked gorgeous in a deep emerald green glittery frock, which was paired with a matching sling.

Chatting to host Phillip Schofield, Jayne revealed that she needed an operation but could still press the buttons – with her right hand – to deliver her scores while judging.

She also revealed that the surgery came after a horror skating injury, which led to a damaged tendon in her arm.

Speaking on the show, she said: “Talking of things going wrong on the ice, I ruptured my bicep tendon so I need to have surgery.”

Adding: “I’ll be fine and I’ll be back on the ice soon.”

Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to throw their support behind the beloved skating star.
