Dancing on Ice star Joey Essex cuddled up to skating partner Vanessa Bauer as he thanked fans for getting him into the final.
In the clip shared to his Instagram, Joey excitedly boasted about making it to the final.
“Guys we made it to the final,” he started. “Me and Vanessa made it to the final!”

Vanessa then crashed behind him before wrapping her arm around him, saying: “And we’re so grateful for it.”
Joey fell back into her chest and as he thanked fans, Vanessa looked lovingly down at him as the pair cosied up behind the scenes of their practice for Sunday night’s skate.

The former TOWIE star made it through the final round of the competition after falling into the skate-off against The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran and Coronation Street’s Molly Gallagher.
In a tense final decision, the judges chose to save Joey and Vanessa after they skated to High by Lighthouse Family in memory of his late mother who sadly took her own life when he was just 10 years old.

Joey shared a snap of his ice skating boots with his 1.8million followers ahead of the moving skate.
“Putting my everything into these skates,” he wrote. “Tonight we will be ice skating solo and also a routine that’s personal.
“Hope to make everyone proud,” he concluded.
He then thanked fans for their supportive comments, adding: “Thank you for all the love and support. It means a lot.”

Throughout the show, Joey and Vanessa have fuelled romance rumours throughout their time on the show, with a skate as High School Musical sweethearts Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez resulting in an attempted on-air smooch from Joey which Vanessa awkwardly avoided.
Despite the on-screen blunder, the pair have been closer than ever, with the show’s presenter Phillip Schofield confirming Vanessa is Joey’s “skating-slash-real life partner”.
