Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson wows in multiple wedding dresses as she ties the knot

Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson has shared snaps of her seven wedding dresses after her marriage to Casey Johnson.

The pair, who were engaged for three years following Covid-induced delays, tied the knot at Bassmead Manor Barns in the Cambridgeshire countryside at an adorable barnyard surrounded by friends, family and former castmates.

Marnie walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with her stepdad Eric to the song I’ll Be by Boyce Avenue. The first of her three dresses was a beautiful white gown by Galisa Grace with a cut-out bodice and matching veil.

TOWIE star Jordan Brook, who’s currently dating Marnie’s cousin and Geordie Shore housemate Sophie Kasaei, flexed his vocal chords at the reception with a rendition of Ben E. King’s Stand By Me.

Marnie wore a ruffled look for her second wedding dress

The couple were surrounded by 80 guests, including her co-stars Charlotte Crosby, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan and Nathan Henry and their two children Rox, three, who acted as their adorable ring bearer and 10-month-old Oax.

Casey and Marnie posed for pictures before the wedding reception began, and Marnie shared that the second dress she wore for the snaps was “without a doubt” her favourite.

Marnie and Casey tied the knot for the OK! feature

She told OK!: “It was very me, but it’s my type of fashion that no one really sees, because it was quite vintage. My family always joke that I should have been born in the 20s, because I love everything about that era. That dress reminded me of that.”

Her third and final dress of the evening was a short and “sexy” white dress from House of CB.

Despite the wait for their wedding, Marnie admitted that she “didn’t have time” to organise dresses for her would-be bridesmaids, so instead had only one man-of-honour, her close pal and agent Craig Johnson-Pass.

“It was a lot of added stress and I didn’t have the time to physically source them, make sure everyone was comfortable, and get them fitted,” she said.

“I didn’t actually feel any different not having any bridesmaids. I thought everyone was really relaxed and looked beautiful. I’m happy with my decision.”

Looking back on the wedding day, Marnie revealed that it felt like Geordie Shore all over again, adding that the night became “really messy.”

“At one point I think I forgot I was at my wedding – It was like Geordie Shore all over again. It got really wild at the end; this always happens whenever the Geordies are in town. Things just get messy!”
