Setting up a sofa on the cobbles, Alison and Dermot spoke to royal expert Camilla Tominey and Gogglebox star Gyles Brandreth about the upcoming event.

As the group speculated about who was going to appear on the balcony at Buckingham Palace after the coronation, Gyles said it would be the King and Queen, then them with the heirs, and then the working royals.

Camilla added that Prince Andrew and Prince Harry wouldn’t make the cut as they are not working royals currently.

Dermot then asked Gyles what he would be doing on the day, and he confirmed he had been invited to the coronation and would be sitting in Westminster Abbey.

Camilla joked: “Not behind a pillar,” as Gyles replied: “I will be behind a pillar, possibly with Prince Harry.”

Camilla replied: “Maybe you could get some gossip for us for next week.”

A source has revealed that the relationship between Prince Harry and his brother William and father King Charles is still strained, despite Harry agreeing to return home for the coronation.

A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Relationships between Harry and Meghan and the family are still very tense.

“The family will be cordial because the King wants his son at his Coronation but there will be no meaningful conversation as there’s still a lack of trust given the revelations in his book and the Sussexes Netflix documentary.”
