Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has opened up about motherhood saying it’s “hard”.
The 36-year-old actress gave birth to a little girl named Bonnie in December 2021 with her Ex-EastEnders star fiancé Toby-Alexander Smith.
Tracy made a brief return to Emmerdale last year to mark the ITV soap’s 50th anniversary but she’s set to make a full-time comeback in upcoming scenes.

Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) hear from Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is heading to the town hall.
Fearing he’s about to do something stupid and fight for custody of little Frankie, they race off to stop him.
Spotting Tracy in a wedding dress outside the Registry Office with an attractive man, Cain and Moira now conclude that Nate is actually planning to crash her wedding.
Cain acts decisively and kidnaps Nate before he can go inside, knocking him out in the process.
Coming round in the van back in the village, Nate is aghast by what they have done, has he been hiding a secret from his family?
Speaking about returning to the Emmerdale set, Amy told Daily Star and other press: “It’s been so lovely to be back.
“It’s been nice and I was like ‘I feel like me again’, the old me, being silly and it’s quite nice at work to remember those friendships.
“I thought I used to be tired before but now I’m like ‘how has everyone been doing it?’
Amy admitted: “It’s hard, I’m not going to lie, because my child is not sleeping at the moment so that’s tricky but it’s the hours as well.
“You leave at 7pm and you’ll be back in the building at 7am the next morning and in that time you’ve got to bath and bed your child, make dinner and then do your lines for the next day. at some point talk to your other half, sort your clothes for the next morning and get up and go again.
“When its your life it’s a lot but I secretly get a kick out of being pushed to my limits I think.
“Part of me has a new lease of life because of the pressure and I think it’s quite nice weirdly.”
Amy also revealed that she’s been enjoying catching up with her cast mates.
She said: “Roxy [Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding] and I had barely seen each other but we kept in touch and soon as we were back together we were doing yoga in the dressing room, going on a little run on our lunch break and chatting away like no time had past.
“It’s like a family and seeing everyone is lovely.
“You do lose touch a bit with good friends when you’re away but it has reminded me how close we all are.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
