Alison Hammond looked totally different as she unveiled some rather exciting career news.
The national treasure, 48, has been a favourite amongst viewers since she first shot to fame back on telly screens in 2002.
Since then, she’s not stopped – becoming a regular on This Morning for over 20 years, starring on other TV shows and even becoming a successful author.

And now, proving she can turn her hand to whatever she likes, the Brummie babe has shocked her followers by her new career move – and new look.
Taking to her Instagram on Thursday (July 20) Alison gave fans a look at her in character for the pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk.
Alison will be playing Mother Nature (fairy) in the show and will take to the Birmingham Hippodrome stage in December and January.
In the official snap, Alison beamed for the camera while fully decked out in her fairy attire – complete with a crown and fairy wand.
She wrote in the caption: “Can not wait for this !! I’m in Jack and the beanstalk playing Mother nature (fairy) Hope you can come @brumhippodrome Dec and Jan.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the news and flooded the comments section to share their excitement.
One follower gushed: “Amazing! You will be brilliant,” while someone else said: “Congratulations Alison this is great!”
A third chimed in and penned: “Can’t wait to come see you!”
Echoing their thoughts, another follower said: “This is so exciting.”
Alison’s not the only star appearing in the pantomime later this year.
EastEnders legend Samantha Womack was confirmed this week to playing as Mrs Blunderbore, the Giant’s evil wife.
Jack and the Beanstalk will run at Birmingham Hippodrome over the festive period between Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, January 28, 2024.
In other Alison news, she left fans in stitches last week when she opened up about her unexpected bathroom buddy while visiting her co-star Holly Willoughby.
During a visit to the ITV studios, the raven-haired beauty welcomed viewers back to the show alongside her co-star Dermot O’Leary.
At one point in the show, the former Big Brother star shared some of her most embarrassing moments with cats over the years.
She told viewers: “It’s happened to me a lot. When I was using Holly’s toilet her cat came in and watched me and then rubbed up next to my leg.
“I was thinking, ‘This isn’t the time, cat’” as her co-stars burst into laughter.
