Joel Dommett’s wife Hannah Cooper has confessed she is eating spicy foods to try and induce labour – with Nando’s her meal of choice.
The pregnant model, 32, has also been watching some “food porn” in order to try and boost her Oxytocin levels and induce the birth.
Hannah and Joel, 38, are awaiting the birth of their first child together, and they posed at last week’s National Television Awards despite being concerned that she could go into labour at any moment.

And while there’s no scientific proof that it works, Hannah has since been following the old wives’ tale that spicy food will bring labour on.

She shared a photo of a Nando’s order of hot thighs, as well as a sachet of hot Peri Peri sauce – which would be enough for many people to get the sweats.
Hannah said: “Screw the Vindaloo… proud I managed hot I’ll be honest I might go extra hot next time?!”
Also on her Instagram Story was a shot of some pastries on BBC Two, which Hannah described as “porn”.

Hannah’s hubby Joel was the host of the National Television Awards again, however ITV had a whole back-up plan in mind in case she went into labour.
Ahead of the glitzy event, Joel told Fleur East on Hits Radio Breakfast Show: “Hannah is very much ready to give birth!
“She hasn’t given birth as of now so that’s great news for me as I’m sure the production team are ready to replace me at any moment.”

He added: “I think I have a stand in, but they won’t tell me who it is. I assume they’ll be there tonight but that’s the best thing about the NTA’s – if it does happen during the ceremony everyone who could replace me is there right in front of me!”
Luckily, everything was fine and went ahead as planned.
On the night, Joel looked dapper in a cream suit jacket, while Hannah exuded elegance in a black dress.
