Molly Ringwald was spotted looking gorgeous as ever in a slinky sequin dress with her lookalike daughter.
The 80s icon, who fans will know from films like The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, wore a gorgeous champagne gown with a scooped neckline and slashes down the sleeve to bare some skin.
Ringwald’s dress hugged her figure and complemented her iconic red hair as she worked the cameras and flashed a smile. She paired the look with burgundy stilettos and a peach clutch bag while her auburn locks curled round and framed her face.

She wore a full face of makeup, including blush, dark eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick, as she worked the red carpet with her 20-year-old daughter Mathilda, who also wore a sequin dress.
Mathilda’s gown appeared to be inspired by 1920s flapper girl style, with a v-neckline, a dropped waist and a skirt that cut off just above her knee. She looked equally as classy as her mother and paired the look with beige peep toe heels.
She added a snake skin clutch and styled her long raven locks in very loose curls that rumbled down her shoulders. The pair stepped out for the evening to attend the American Ballet Theater Fall Gala in New York, which was hosted at the Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater and honoured journalist Katie Couric for her “dedication to creativity”.
Molly shares her daughter with her husband Panio Gianolpoulous. The pair married back in 2007 and have three children together – 20-year-old Mathilda and 14-year-old twins Roman and Adele.
Ringwald has previously opened up about her children and whether she’d shown them any of her movies. Molly was well known for being part of the Brat Pack, a teen of young actors who frequently appeared in a number of coming-of-age films throughout the 80s.
She spoke on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy back in 2021: “It definitely is a different time. People ask me if I’ve watched them with my kids, and I did watch the first one with Mathilda. It was such an emotional experience that I haven’t found the strength to watch it with my two other kids.”
