“I flew to South Africa quite last minute to go on the show, and I didn’t take anything with me. At the time, I was very much single, I didn’t have a boyfriend, so I didn’t need to sneak a picture in or anything like that.”

After spending nearly three weeks in the camp, the beauty warned contestants to bring some games with them for the annual show. Charlotte went on: “Be prepared to be so bored because it’s just a lot of time just sitting around.”

She went on to admit she would have to turn down the opportunity if she was asked to go on the show now. The TV star added: “Honestly, I couldn’t do a show like that again. Not now, not with Alba, I’d be awful. Good luck to anyone who does it cause it’s tough.”

This isn’t the first show the Sunderland lass has decided not to return to after she opened up about her terrible experience during the Geordie Shore reunion. This summer, the brunette beauty reunited with some of her former cast-mates for the MTV show, which catapulted her to fame when it launched in 2011.

Discussing what fans can expect from the new series, the TV star teased a huge clash between her and another cast member. She explained: “You’ll see when it all pans out but there’ll be no more going back for me, I don’t think.

“I think I’ve realised with the last season that I went in that it just wasn’t for me anymore. I don’t have any bad things to say about Geordie Shore. I absolutely had the time of my life when I was on there.

“I had the most amazing five, six years back in the day and it kickstarted my whole entire life. It was such an incredible show and I’ll always love it so much, but it’s just worn off since then.”

She pointed out that she wants to move on from the show and all the drama that she faced during her time working on the show. Charlotte went on: “I’m in a different place in my life and I don’t want to go back to being involved in drama or conflict. I’m a woman with a child, I’m a mother. It’s just not the era that I’m in anymore.

“I don’t need to go into reality TV shows where I need to be arguing with people, I just don’t need to do that anymore. I spent 10 years of my life doing that.”
