Hollywood star Ryan Gosling has spoken out about his troubling childhood and admitted that he “took knives to school.”
The Barbie star previously admitted that his nickname at school was “Trouble” due to all the mischief that he caused. Ryan, best known for his role in The Notebook, revealed that he brought some weapons into school after he watched the movie Rambo as a child.
In an interview with The Mirror in 2013 Ryan said: “I was highly influenced by violence. When I was a kid I saw Rambo: First Blood and the next day I took knives to school and threw them at everybody!”

It seems as if Ryan was a bit of a terror at school. In an interview with the New York Times a few years ago Ryan said: “I walked into school. Everything got really quiet. I found one of the kids in front of a urinal.

“I smacked his face into the tile, and he bled. The other kid was at his desk. I picked up a math textbook and made his nose bleed. I didn’t want to do it. I don’t like violence. I never went back to that school again.”
In the same interview Ryan also revealed that he was “very lost” when he was younger. He said: “I didn’t play sports. I couldn’t read or write. I was a brat, always in trouble. My teachers thought I was stupid. So did I.”

Even though the La La Land actor is known for being a Hollywood heartthrob these days he struggled to pull the girls when he was a child. He said: “I was always picking fights.
“Because I thought that was what the girls would like. I’d pick on the toughest guys because the girls liked them. So if I beat them up, the girls would like me. But it never worked.”
Due to his parents’ divorce and his bad behaviour in school that star struggled emotionally and physically. He was later given the nickname of “Trouble” by his teachers.
