Tom Parker’s widow has hit back at trolls who slate her for dating again. Since his death, Kelsey has had a relationship with electrician Sean Boggans. The romance, which lasted a year, made her the target of plenty of criticism but she refuses to take any notice.
She said: “When you’ve lost someone you love so much, it proves to you that you’ve only got one life. Tom would want me to be happy. You’ve got one life, so you should live it. That’s what he’s taught us.
“When it comes to dating again… what’s it got to do with anyone else? I think whatever makes you happy in life, you’ve got to do it.”

Kelsey has gone through hell since The Wanted singer Tom was killed by a brain tumour in March 2022. And she’s not going to let anyone tell her how to deal with it.
She said: “There is so much stigma on how you should grieve. People think you should wear black with a veil over my face and be a walking widow. But that’s not the case. I’m still young and I’ve got kids to look after.”
Kelsey bravely opened up about her experience for her book With or Without You in a bid to help others battling grief.

The mum-of-two has been overwhelmed by the response.
She said: “There is no rule book for grief out there and I’m saying to people: don’t worry about how you’re grieving because there is no right or wrong way to do it. “You could be smiling one minute and then deep in emotion the next minute. There is no wrong or right way.
“The response to the book has been incredible. A lot of people that reach out to me on social media say ‘Thank you for flying that flag’. So many people say how much I’ve helped.”
