Red Dwarf’s Craig Charles convinced he saw UFO fleet while smoking spliff

Red Dwarf star Craig Charles reckons he saw a fleet of UFOs… while smoking a spliff.

The BBC Radio 6 DJ was with his brother-in-law when they spotted the weird flying triangles. He’s convinced he saw something from another planet, despite being high, saying: “They didn’t look of this world.”

Craig – who played Lister in the sci-fi series – said the sighting was in Galway, Ireland, a few years ago.

The 59-year-old said: “Me and my brother-in-law, we were in his garden outside his house and we saw these things fly over. They were flying triangles. I looked at him and he looked at me. I said, ‘Do you see what I’m seeing?’ He said ‘yeah what is that?’”

Craig, who was Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street, added: “We’d just had a massive spliff. I don’t think that affected what we were seeing, because we were still seeing the same thing.”

Speaking at the Awakening Expo in Manchester, he told US TV host Jimmy Church: “They were really really high up.

“They were white or cream. They looked like flat triangles, not like pyramids.

“There were flying in formation but there were lots of them. They were flying in a pyramid shape but not connected.”

Meanwhile, web sleuths claim to have spotted a UFO on the edge of a remote part of an island in Antarctica.

Deep in the hard of the frosted snow lands there is an island known as Two Hummock Island. It measures around six miles long and has two rocky mountains called Bauche Peak and Modev Peak.

And it is near the latter that a strange anomaly has been spotted on Google Maps – and it really does look exactly how you would expect a crashed alien spacecraft to look. Read the full story here.
