Married at First Sight Australia fans have slammed one contestant for his “unfair” behaviour.
The hit E4 dating show returned on Wednesday (February 28) and saw Collins and Natalie meet at the altar. The couple immediately hit it off as they bounced off each other’s energetic personalities and bonded over their “geeky” qualities.
But as their wedding day continued, it appeared 32-year-old Collins began having second thoughts. Things went even more downhill when Natalie, 28, gifted her husband a magnetic necklace that connected to hers.

Realising he wanted to take things slow, Collins requested that they sleep in separate beds on their wedding night. When they woke up the next day, Natalie made it clear it wasn’t her decision but remained unaware of how her husband was really feeling.

An excited Natalie couldn’t wait to get the morning started, but Collins asked if they could have a chat. He explained: “I’m in this wholeheartedly, but at the same time, this is really unfamiliar territory for me and I know it’s going to take time for me.”
He added: “This situation, this feeling won’t be immediate for me. I’m a real slow burner. I take it day by day, but I’m excited. Let’s just get to know each other.”

Natalie agreed, telling her husband that she would meet him downstairs in five minutes. But as the camera crew entered Natalie’s room, she was crying as she folded her clothes.
She told the crew: “Can I just have a couple of minutes to compose myself? I don’t want to look like I’ve just been crying.” Fans raced to social media to question why Collins has signed up to the show.

One wrote: “‘I wanna take my time’ but you married a stranger at first sight? lol okay Collins.” Another said: “Ohhhhh boy. Collins. Why’d they let him in. He didn’t realize he’d be sharing a bed with a WIFE??”
A third weighed in: “He is not ready for this. So unfair for Natalie.” Someone else echoed: “Never been in a relationship before, probably never even been intimate with someone before??? so why you going on a reality show and getting married.”
