Celebrity Big Brother viewers have been left horrified by what they believe is Louis Walsh’s gross habit.
Tuesday night (March 5) saw Louis Walsh walk into the Celebrity Big Brother house with fellow judge Sharon Osbourne, who is only staying for a few days. But it didn’t take long for fans to notice that Louis appears to have a nasty habit.
When all the celebs headed to the main bedroom to pick their beds, Louis wasted no time at all in claiming his bed. He made sure he got the bed he wanted, and he told The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren Simon to budge when it looked like she’d stolen his spot.

But what really got people talking was his apparently chewed-up fingernails. Fans on X, formerly Twitter, shared their disgust during the episode. One wrote: “Omg Louis Walsh’s bitten nails! @bbuk #CBBUK,” and another said, “Louis needs some press on nails gurl #CBBUK.”, reports the Mirror.
Another said: “Man them nails are vile #CBBUK,”. Another wrote: “Y’all seen Louis’ finger nails #cbbuk.”
Discussing why he decided to go into the house, Louis said: “Why not! I’m not getting any younger and I just want to have fun so when the opportunity for this came up I thought let’s do it. I just want to have fun and meet some nice people.”
Louis also admitted being nervous to bunk with others. “Sharing a bedroom with so many other people, I’ve not done that since boarding school, and I hated it then.” He confessed he’s no chef but isn’t fussed about going without his mobile.
“I don’t cook, like at all,” he revealed. “I can only just make a cup of tea and even then I use the microwave. I’ll be fine [without my phone], I lived for years without one, remember payphones!”.
Before the show kicked off, Louis owned up to sometimes putting his foot in it. Chatting to The Sun, he said: “I don’t have a great connection between my brain and my mouth. I like to tell it like it is, so I’ll have to do Celebrity Big Brother very carefully ..”
He’s all about living it up in the here and now. He added: “We’re in the final chapter, so let’s have fun. I don’t want to be in my final chapter, I want to live. I want to enjoy myself. It makes sense that you get to this age and think, ‘Why not? ‘. I just want to enjoy myself. I didn’t think at this stage in my life I’d be offered this show. They talked me into doing it and I’m glad I’m doing it.”
