Benidorm child star unrecognisable in holiday snaps nine years after ITV fame

Benidorm star Honor Kneafsey looked totally different as she posed up a storm on her recent holiday.

The star jetted off on a romantic holiday with her boyfriend and looked almost unrecognisable from her Benidorm stint as Jodie Dawson. The Dawson family first entered the show nine years ago in series eight.

Honor, now 19, left the show in 2017 and looks totally different from her final appearance at the Solana Hotel. The ITV star recently flown to Turkey with her boyfriend and shared some sweet snaps on social media.

Honor looked lovingly at her partner in one snap as they stood beside a pool. In another snap, she sported an olive green cut-out dress as she showed fans her impressive figure.

Honor played Jodie Dawson

She wore her curly locks, which are now brown rather than red, in a stylish up-do. But it’s not only Benidorm Honor has starred in as she has also racked up credits in Sherlock, How Not To Live Your Life, Siblings 2, Our Zoo and the Barbara Windsor biopic Babs.

This comes after another Beniform legend had hinted earlier this year that the show could be making a return – six years after getting axed. Actress Sherrie Hewson responded to a fan online who was keen to know whether it could ever come back to screens.

The fan quizzed: “Will there be another series of Benidorm, Joyce?” Sherrie replied: “Never say never,” with two heart emojis. Other fans were quick to speculate on her answer, with one adding: “Ooo exciting. I know Derren is writing again!!!!. What a joy a s11 would be.” Others typed “God let it be true..” as well as “I hope there is.”

A few months ago, the creator of the ITV show, Derren Litten, also hinted a mighty comeback for the programme – after he decided to go back to writing after taking time out to launch his DJ career. He released a statement that read: “It’s been a difficult decision but I’ve decided to return back to writing for both television and theatre.

“I have had clear, recent indications that certain TV channels are interested in my decision and I hope you will be watching the fruits of my labour in time to come. Obviously, there are always rumours surrounding such announcements but I would like to make it clear my decision to come out of retirement is purely to spend less time with my family.”
