Love Island’s Nicole Samuel shares sex ban ahead of villa debut and exposes bizarre ick

Love Island recruit Nicole Samuel has sworn off sex ahead of her ITV stint – even if she meets the man of her dreams.

The Welsh beauty is one of the 11 sexy singletons who are set to strut their stuff into the Spanish villa on Monday (June 3) in the hopes of finding love again. The world champion street dancer has described herself as a “pocket rocket” looking to score a rugby boy on the reality show.

Ahead of the 11th series of the dating show, the brunette beauty sat down with Daily Star and other press as she lifted the lid on what sort of man she is looking for. Reflecting on her previous relationships, she told us: “Obviously, it hasn’t worked with the boys that I’ve gone for [in the past].

“So I’m just gonna be open to different options and see what the different people that are in there are like and who I gel with more?” Describing her dream man, she giggled: “A cheeky chappy is like more my type, somebody who’s cheeky but not too much.”

When asked about her boundaries in the bedroom ahead of her time on the show, she revealed that she will be swearing off sex for her eight-week stint. Emphasising that this wasn’t advice given by her parents, she explained: “I think for myself, I don’t think I would have any sexual experiences on the show.

“Just because I might not meet anybody on there and then I’ve still got to come out and find somebody. So, I don’t want to be jeopardising my future relationships and stuff like that.

“It’s just personal like other people can get up to it, but I think personally I won’t be engaging in any sexual activities on the show.” Despite the difficult decision, Nicole hopes that her partner will be understanding in the end.

She went on: “It all depends on if I end up with somebody. Maybe if I end up with somebody and I found them from the beginning and then I’m wanting to be with them, then it might be a bit hard.

“But I suppose it all depends on the situation you’re in.” Having joined the hotly awaited ITV dating series as part of the original 2024 clan, the accounts manager admitted she’s prepared to step on a few toes to get what she wants when she touches down in Majorca.

After flying solo for two years and living her best life with her friends on her lavish holidays, she warned her fellow Islanders that she will only follow the girl code if she bonds with them. She hinted: “I’ll only be a girl’s girl to someone who’s a girl’s girl to me, so it depends on the scenario and who they are and if we gelled well. Otherwise…”

The brunette beauty then went on to spill one of her biggest icks that she looks out for in a potential date. She confessed: “It’s really weird, but what gives me the ick is odd socks.

“So like if somebody wears odd socks, I’m like, no. I just, I don’t know why I’m like this. Even if it’s like the socks that are all white and then they’ve got like one colour on the top, but they don’t match.

“It’s just like, wear the right socks,” she chuckled. Fans will have to stay tuned to see which lucky fella the dancer ends up with.

The 11thseries of Love Island launches on Monday June 3 on ITV2 or catch up on ITVX.
