Eamonn Holmes has admitted he is struggling to cope over his split from Ruth Langsford.
The couple have called time on their marriage after 14 years and he is devastated. Speaking about his pain for the first time, he said: “I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all.”
Eamonn is keen for the pair to stay on good terms. Asked if they’ll remain pals, he said: “It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.”

Eamonn also revealed his battle with chronic back pain is making his life a misery. The star admitted he feels like he is on “borrowed time”.
On Tuesday (June 25) he attended the TRIC Awards in a wheelchair. He said: “I wasn’t going to come, but I’ve got this new chair with all these gadgets.”
After his GB News breakfast show won a gong, he told the crowd about his battle. He said: “I had an operation a year and a half ago, and two things went wrong so I have two things in my back I don’t want.”
Reform Party leader Nigel Garage was also at the bash surrounded by bodyguards amid fears he would be attacked. The politician was booed by the crowd as he collected a gong for News Presenter.
